Frequently Asked Questions
How do I import my schedule?
Go to the Schedule tab and tap the sync button in the top right corner. Your schedule will be automatically parsed and your pay calculated based on the 2024 CBA.
How is my pay calculated?
Pay is calculated using the 2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement rates. The app computes your base pay (credit hours × hourly rate based on seniority), plus supplementals like lead/premium pay, boarding pay, international pay, holiday pay, per diem, sit rigs, and incentive pay. Each sequence is broken down individually so you can verify every component.
What is a carryover trip?
A carryover trip is a sequence that starts in one bid month but has credit hours that apply to the next bid month. For example, a trip starting January 30th might have flying on February 1st — those February hours "carry over" and count toward your February pay, including all supplementals like lead pay and per diem.
Why doesn't my projected credit match exactly?
Small differences can occur because the airline's projection includes factors the app may not yet have data for, such as pay protection from removed trips, sick credit, or reserve guarantee adjustments. After importing your HI1 Activity Sheet, the app can cross-reference and reconcile these differences.
How does pay protection work?
Pay protection only applies when a sequence is removed from your schedule. The removal code determines whether you still receive credit for the trip you didn't fly. For example, removal codes like SK (Paid Sick), XP (Partial Cancellation), DC (Direct Conflict), and FI (FAR Illegal) are pay-protected — you still get credit. Removal codes like XI (Full Cancellation), PO (Personal Day), and TM (Trip Missed) are unpaid. Add codes are not related to pay protection — if a trip is added to your schedule, you fly it and get paid.
What is the Paycheck Estimator?
The Paycheck Estimator provides a pay-stub-style breakdown of your projected gross earnings for each half-month pay period. It shows regular pay, boarding pay, holiday pay, premium/lead pay, per diem, and advance recovery — giving you an estimate of what to expect on your paycheck.
How does per diem work?
Per diem is calculated based on your Time Away From Base (TAFB) for each sequence. The domestic rate is $2.90/hour and the international rate is $3.45/hour. Single-duty-day sequences are taxable, while multi-duty-day sequences are non-taxable. Per diem is paid on the second half of the month.
What is the Compare tool?
The Compare tool lets you look up any two bid sequences side-by-side and see detailed pay breakdowns, duty periods, flight legs, and equipment for each. It's useful when deciding between trip trades or evaluating open time pickups.
How does Schedule Lookup work?
Schedule Lookup lets you view another crew member's schedule by entering their employee number. The view is read-only and sanitized for privacy. Users can opt out of being looked up in their profile settings.
